National Focal Point takes part and shares the organisation of the launch event for the new EEA Grants funding cycle
Lisbon hosts launch of new Financial Mechanism, reinforcing over three decades of partnership between Portugal, Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein.
The visit is part of the preparation phase for the ‘Domestic and Gender Violence’ Programme of the new EEAGrants funding cycle, which will be administered by CIG, with a total budget of €14 million, of which about €4 million will be allocated to the area of justice, in this case investing in training and qualifications to combat domestic and gender violence more effectively.
The Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding took place on July 8 and marks the launch of the Next European Economic Area Financial Mechanism (EEA Grants 2021–2028)

The EEA Grants have a no-tolerance policy on corruption and mismanagement. Complaints and alerts on suspected irregularities may be submitted directly to any entity involved in the implementation of the EEA Grants 2014-2021.
